CUTTING
Sag Tubi has a cutting capacity of over 600,000 tubes per month. Within its facilities, it processes tubes ranging from 4 to 152.44 mm in diameter and up to 8 mm in thickness, using CNC, disc, tool, and laser machines. Thanks to a state-of-the-art 11-axis controlled system, Sag Tubi can laser cut previously shaped tubes.
BENDING
With over 32 CNC tube bending machines, Sag Tubi can bend tubes of any material to the specific requirements of the customer, with diameters ranging from 4 to 152.4 mm.
SHAPING
Sag Tubi is capable of forming any shape and contour at the ends of tubes up to ø 230 mm, including indentations, tapers, expansions, flares, simple edging, and shouldered edges, etc.
BREZING
Sag Tubi boasts significant experience in brazing:
– Furnace brazing in a controlled atmosphere
– Induction brazing
– Oxy-acetylene brazing.
INDUCTION WELDING
Sag Tubi also boasts considerable experience in metal welding and offers various types of processing capabilities:
– Furnace brazing in a controlled atmosphere
– Induction brazing
– MIG/MAG welding with 6-axis robots
– Manual welding by certified personnel: brazing, TIG, MIG, MAG
FLARING
Sag Tubi can fit tubes with any type of connection such as ORFS, JIC, DIN 24°, etc., through flaring at the ends, ranging from ø 6 mm to ø 42 mm.
TURNING
Thanks to state-of-the-art CNC machines, Sag Tubi internally manufactures various types of fittings, both from bar and forged, according to customer specifications.
ZINC PLATING (GALVANIZING)
Sag Tubi has one of the largest electrolytic galvanizing plants in Europe, with performance resistant to salt spray for up to 800 hours. The facility includes tanks for both acid and alkaline zinc to optimize the surface treatment of fitted tubes, and exclusively uses products free from hexavalent chromium.
FLEXIBLE ASSEMBLY
Sag Tubi assembles any type of flexible and iron-rubber tubes for low, medium, and high pressures from 1/8″ up to 2″, either through simple clamping or by crimping of bushings or sleeves using controlled hydraulic presses.
INSULATION
It is possible to assemble any type of screwed or welded insulation, or to create a tube within a tube by inserting insulating fiber inside. The entire process is supported by a study conducted with state-of-the-art software.
FINISHING
With automatic or manual systems, SAG TUBI can apply any type of labeling to finished pipes, whether adhesive or metallic, or make engravings via punching or laser. To preserve the contamination standard required by the client, SAG TUBI can apply various types of protection to the ends.
3D CUTTING (AFTER BENDING)
Thanks to a state-of-the-art 11-axis controlled system, Sag Tubi can perform 3D laser cutting on previously shaped tubes.
WASHING
Sag Tubi has two washing plants: one for degreasing/pickling and the other to achieve the low levels of contamination required by the customer through an entirely vacuum treatment cycle using modified alcohols.
TESTING
Sag Tubi has a testing department capable of conducting pressure tests up to 40 bar.
